What does progress look like in our industry? Some say it arises from new technology; others believe it stems from market pressure. We’ve learnt that it typically results from a series of consistent decisions made early on and repeated frequently. At the start of 2026, that principle will guide our next steps.

Engineering Dynamics has grown steadily since 1994. The tools we provide, from laser alignment systems to vibration analysis equipment and training, have assisted plants across Southern Africa in understanding their machinery before problems arise. That straightforward approach has shaped our work for over three decades.

Firstly, our training courses and rigs will be reviewed and updated in 2026. The aim is straightforward: ensure the training aligns with the conditions people face on site. Better alignment between instruction and real environments results in improved decisions.

Then, in May, we’ll attend the Easy-Laser conference in Stockholm, Sweden, where Easy-Laser will be celebrating 30 years of operation. There is a distinct comfort in knowing that the tools we provide are backed by three decades of Swedish engineering consistency.

We will be exhibiting at Electra Mining in September. It’s an opportunity to meet clients face-to-face, understand the most pressing challenges, and gauge the industry’s direction. We are delighted to have Mikael Terner, the CEO of Easy-Laser and Area Manager Kevin Fuxinger, join us for the conference. Their participation underscores their ongoing commitment to the South African market.

Growth, however, introduces many unique demands. Engineering Dynamics Services, our service company, currently manages a diverse range of plants and thousands of machines across Southern Africa. Data at this scale requires human interpretation and, therefore, possible expansion in human capital.

2026 is expected to be a year dedicated to strengthening our foundations and broadening our reach. Every action is carefully planned to enhance reliability for our clients. We look forward to collaborating with you throughout this year.

If the future is merely the accumulation of the actions we take today, what does your current preparation say about where you will be in 2026?
